Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN) โ€“ Remote Prior Authorization

100% Remote โ€“ Anywhere in the U.S.
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, Day Shift (No weekends unless overtime is required)


About the Role

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with prior remote prior authorization experience to join our team. In this role, you will review and process prior authorization (PA) requests, communicate with healthcare providers, and ensure accurate, timely approvals or escalations.


What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Review and process prior authorization requests according to policies and clinical guidelines

  • Serve as the decision-maker for PA approvals and escalate to pharmacists when needed

  • Accurately document all calls, case details, and outcomes in the system

  • Answer calls promptly, including escalated calls in the nurse phone queue

  • Ensure proper processing, review, and maintenance of all PA paperwork

  • Participate in ongoing training and team development


Minimum Requirements
  • Active LPN license in the state of practice (must include screenshot at top of resume)

  • 1โ€“3 years of work experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance

  • Remote prior authorization experience required

  • High school diploma or GED required; nursing degree preferred

  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working independently in a quiet, distraction-free home office with hardwired internet
