Day in the life: Logistics Coordinator, Advanced ServicesWe are thrilled to announce the opening for the Logistics Coordinator role! This is an exciting entry-level opportunity where you will dive into our vibrant business environment and work alongside our fantastic Advanced Services team. In this position, you'll be at the forefront of problem-solving and crafting innovative solutions to meet our customers' diverse logistics needs. To thrive here, you'll need a solid grasp of shipper, carrier, and broker processes, along with a keen understanding of various transportation modes and service levels. We are looking for a proactive go-getter with a collaborative spirit who can build meaningful relationships, manage processes effectively, and bring an analytical mindset to the table. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Help maintain existing client and partner relationships and assist our agent internal teams in designing unique solutions for potential customers.
  2. Assist in the management and coordination of shipments.
  3. Communicate effectively with customers, partner vendors and team members as needed in a professional and prompt manner.
  4. Help ensure projects meet internal and external expectations regarding quality, budget timelines and strategy.
  5. Review and verify carrier invoice charges to ensure accuracy.
  6. Collaborate with the Advanced Services team to suggest and develop ideas for enhancement within the division.
  7. Continually seek and establish new carrier partnerships to significantly expand our provider database and diversify our mode offerings.
  8. Assist in achieving monthly and quarterly revenue and profit objectives as set by the team manager.
  9. Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers
  2. Verbal and written communication skills to include grammatically correct business correspondence.
  3. High School Diploma is required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  4. Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to execute projects on time.
  5. Strong analytical and technical skills for problem solving and decision-making.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with skills in creating formulas, formatting charts, pivot table and macros.
  7. Commitment to upholding Company Core Values.
