Logistics/Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:
The Logistics Warehouse Manager is responsible for executing inventory control, overseeing cycle counting policies, reconciling inventory along with the customer inventory, and researching variances and shipping discrepancies. The Logistics Manager will also formalize inventory procedures, generate detailed cycle counts to provide measurable inventory results, create inventory reports, and leads optimization of logistics processes. A successful Logistics Warehouse Manager will have shipping experience and know protocols for international shipping. They must be reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset. The goal of this position is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.
Job Duties:
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages.
  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.
  • Establish protocols to ship product international.
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
  • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.
  • Place orders with Purchasing to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs.
  • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.
  • Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
  • Interview and hire new employees.
  • Identify employees' skills and develop them by coaching and counseling employees on a regular basis.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and provide continual feedback on both positive and negative performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering or a related area, with a Master's degree preferred. Plus;
  1. Experience in printing industry strongly preferred
  2. Proven experience as logistics manager or similar position
  3. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  4. Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
  5. Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  6. An analytical mind with strong math skills
  7. Excellent organizational and planning skills
  8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  9. Reliable and trustworthy
