About UsGibney's is a busy three-floor Irish bar and restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, with a rooftop, private event spaces, live sports, and events throughout the week. We pride ourselves on great food, genuine Irish hospitality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both our guests and staff.
We're looking for an experienced Weekend Line Cook with flexible availability to join our kitchen team.
Pay: $20–22 per hour (DOE)
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items to Gibney's standards.
Complete daily prep and maintain an organized station.
Follow all NYC Department of Health regulations.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area throughout your shift.
Properly label, date, and rotate food using FIFO.
Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking.
Work efficiently during busy service periods.
Complete opening and closing duties.
RequirementsAt least 2 years line cook experience.
Valid NYC Food Handler Certificate is required.
Spanish is required.
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
Weekend availability is required, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts.
