Legal Assistant - Full time (Honolulu)
Medium size law firm specializing in insurance defense, medical malpractice, and civil litigation is seeking a full-time legal assistant to start immediately.
Duties:
Prepare legal documents and correspondence;
Schedule appointments, make travel arrangements;
Communicate with clients and others by phone and email;
Calendar events and deadlines;
Maintain case files;
Process incoming and outgoing correspondence/documents;
Review documents for grammatical errors/court required information;
Filing on-line with United States District Court; and
Filing documents with all Hawaii state, appellate and district courts.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years litigation experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to multitask;
Team player;
Dependable, motivated, and good work ethic;
Knowledgeable with MS Word, Word Perfect, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift  (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)(1 hour lunch)
  • Monday to Friday
