Position Summary

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, and laundry items are cleaned, organized, and available to support daily hotel operations. This position helps maintain the cleanliness and presentation standards of the hotel while providing exceptional service to internal and external guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel laundry items.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of clean linens for housekeeping and guest needs.
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report replacement needs to management.
  • Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
  • Keep laundry room clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist housekeeping team with linen distribution and collection as needed.
  • Respond promptly to guest and team member requests related to laundry services.
  • Properly use cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report maintenance concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Support hotel cleanliness initiatives and brand service standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience preferred but not required.
