We offer a full range of roadside safety products and onsite traffic services to our customers. POSITION OVERVIEW
As a vital member of our operations team, we are looking to add a General Labourer to aid in the installation of guard rail, cable barrier, and other safety systems. Working closely with the Site Superintendents and Foreman, the General Labourer will play a vital role in supporting project completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ยท Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles and trailers
ยท Secure cargo and heavy equipment to flat deck and double drop deck trucks
ยท Safely drive and operate vehicles out to infrastructure job sites throughout the city
ยท Operate various hand and power tools; including drills, skid steers, etc.
ยท Assist operators in loading and unloading construction materials from trucks both manually and utilizing the use of equipment
ยท Execute daily work under the direction of the site superintendent
ยท Participate in daily safety meetings and fill out hazard assessments
ยท Maintain a clean work site by handling materials and storing them properly
ยท Report incidents immediately to health and safety or site supervisor
