Located in Port Richey, FL
Salary: $16-$18 per Hour
Express Employment Professionals is hiring General Laborers for a short-term weekend assignment with a well-established company in the utility and infrastructure industry. If you're dependable, enjoy hands-on work, and have a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Location: New Port Richey, FL Schedule: Saturdays only for the next 3 weeks (Sunday work may be available if needed)
Shift: Start time is 7:00 AM; shifts are typically 8-10 hours
Responsibilities
  • Degrease and clean 1' thick cables.
  • Wash and prepare cables according to company standards
  • Remove labels or stickers from cables as needed
  • Move, organize, and handle materials safely throughout the work area
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Work Environment
  • Work is performed outdoors under a covered tent
  • Three large fans are provided, but applicants should be prepared to work in hot outdoor conditions
  • This position involves washing cables, so expect to get wet during the workday
  • Aprons, gloves, safety glasses, and rubber boots are provided

Qualifications
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
