Supervisor, Laboratory (Contract)

Location: Oregon 97058
Pay: $2,594 – $2,905


Schedule
  • Day Shift (Exempt)

  • 5 x 8-hour shifts

  • Weekend coverage required

  • Some weekend call required

  • Self-scheduling

  • No floating


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily lab operations for routine and stat testing

  • Supervise lab staff, scheduling, training, and performance

  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CLIA, CAP, FDA, OSHA, and HIPAA

  • Perform Clinical Laboratory Scientist duties as needed

  • Manage quality control, proficiency testing, and lab procedures

  • Maintain inventory, supplies, and operational efficiency


Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (Required)

  • 5+ years clinical lab experience (Required)

  • Prior supervisory experience (Required)

  • Hospital lab experience (Preferred)

  • Experience with Joint Commission standards (Required)

Licenses & Certifications

  • ASCP or AMT (MT) Certification (Required)
