Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex clinical laboratory testing across multiple laboratory disciplines.
  • Ensure accurate, timely and reliable test results that support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Follow established laboratory procedures, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory and clinical teams to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Support quality improvement, laboratory operations and compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to applicable safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS-accredited MLS programme or a bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological or Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
  • National certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist through an approved professional certification body.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, or equivalent laboratory experience.
  • Experience working in a moderate- or high-complexity clinical laboratory is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment.
