Position Summary

Assist and perform a wide range of order and supplies fulfillment, accounting/inventory data, through the use of spreadsheets and mapping. Maintain and record maintenance contracts to support lab machinery. Shipping/ receiving, phones, general lab duties.

Essential Functions
  • Work in a laboratory environment that may contain chemical odors.
  • Perform assigned duties according to the current HSE laboratory safety standards.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations while performing assigned duties.
  • Answer phones
  • Maintain multiple spreadsheets /data bases for accounting, mapping, and service contracts.
  •  Inventory and order laboratory supplies
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
Skills & Abilities
  • Computer Skills: Strong background in MS Office applications required.
  • Customer Service Skills: Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
  • Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible.
  • Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging.
