Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our second shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on commercial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
  • Emptying trash cans and replacing liners throughout the facility
  • Assist with various custodial duties in a commercial setting
  • Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.

Experience

  • Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
