To thrive as a Weekend IT Support professional, you need a solid understanding of computer systems, troubleshooting, and networking concepts, usually backed by a degree in IT or related certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP). Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote desktop tools, and common operating systems is essential for diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
