Description

This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to serve patients while gaining valuable experience in a progressive medical practice environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert radiological assessments, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to the advancement of healthcare solutions while enjoying the vibrant community life Chattanooga has to offer.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures and evaluate results
  • Collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
  • Communicate findings to referring physicians and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology practices and technologies
  • Engage in patient consultations and provide guidance on imaging options
  • Mentor junior staff and provide educational resources when needed
Requirements
  • Valid MD or DO medical degree with a focus on Radiology
  • Current state medical license to practice in Tennessee
  • Experience in a clinical setting with diagnostic imaging
  • Strong knowledge of radiological techniques and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p

Call: Monday-Friday (5p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a)

Duties: Diagnostic and interventional radiology services

Required Procedures: Biliary stents and drains, percutaneous nephrostomy, G-tube placement/change, J-tube reposition/change, chest tube, kyphoplasty, lumbar puncture, etc.

Support Staff: PAs

EMR: Epic

PACS: McKesson, Merge

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
