Job description

Overview
Susquehanna International Group is seeking a senior software engineer to join our ETF Development Team. This team delivers innovative datasets, advanced applications, and sophisticated trading strategies to enhance the ETF trading desk's initiatives. We operate in an environment that thrives on a mix of quantitative, strategic, and frontend development skills. Our primary aim is to seamlessly integrate software developers, quantitative researchers, and traders, fostering a dynamic and expanding business.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Curating high-value datasets to support traders and quantitative researchers in generating insightful market analyses.
  • Creating and maintaining robust, user-friendly frontend interfaces for trading strategies and signal generators.
  • Building quantitative signal generators that feed trading strategies.
  • Facilitating international growth by working closely with our business counterparts in Susquehanna's Europe and Asia offices.

We are seeking an individual with proficiency in Python and Javascript/Typescript development to join us. Your role will involve developing datasets, strategy signals, and control surfaces for managing strategies and signal generators. Visualizations will also form a significant part of your contribution.

We are a full-stack, collaborative team, with full ownership of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), spanning from requirements gathering to deploying and supporting production software. An ideal candidate would be enthusiastic to learn about our business directly from stakeholders. Your role will be instrumental in helping us expedite the development of robust software and data solutions to foster our dynamic trading efforts.
What we're looking for
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar major.
  • 3+ year of software development experience in any object oriented language (we use Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C++ the most).
  • Visa sponsorship is available for this position
