Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems within a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial electrician work, automation, and control systems, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in industrial maintenance, PLC programming, and high-voltage systems to contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
 Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including low voltage, high voltage, sensors, vision inspection systems, and distributed control systems.

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, calibration tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments.

  • Repair and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), AutoCAD drawings,

  • Conduct calibration of sensors and instrumentation to meet manufacturing specifications.

  • Diagnose mechanical problems related to hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components; perform repairs as needed.

  • Install new electrical components and upgrade existing systems in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications.

  • Assist in field service operations including troubleshooting on-site equipment at customer facilities.

  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate repairs.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and system modifications for compliance and future reference.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations related to high voltage, low voltage, and other hazardous conditions.


Skills

  • Extensive experience with industrial electrician tasks including wiring, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, sensors, vision inspection systems, calibration techniques, and precision measuring instruments.

  • Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), AutoCAD drawing, CNC machinery, and SCADA systems like Vision Inspection Systems.

  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.

  • Experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems safely. s

  • Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment maintenance including hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • Familiarity with field service operations in industrial settings.

  • Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work in manufacturing environments.

  • Background in military or similar disciplined environments is a plus for adherence to safety protocols.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation when working directly with clients or internal teams. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in technical environments requiring precision maintenance skills across electrical and mechanical disciplines within manufacturing settings.
