Position Title: Caregiver – Weekend Shifts

Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays (Flexible shifts available)

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers to join our team and support seniors over the weekend. In this role, you will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes by assisting with daily living activities and providing companionship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

  • Support mobility and safe transfers

  • Run errands or assist with grocery shopping as needed

  • Follow individualized care plans and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor

Skills & Qualifications
  • Independence, flexibility, and good judgment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of physiology and general nutrition for meal planning

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Active listening and time management skills

  • Ability to create a safe environment and promote health

Education & Requirements
  • Current CNA certification or similar credential (preferred)

  • Must maintain current credentials: First Aid, TB test, and required in-services
