Job Details
ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physicians to join its established Hospital Medicine team in a Nocturnist role.

Highlights:

  • Thirteen 12-hour shifts per four-week block, with one remote 8-hour shift to be worked every other block. (169 12-hour shifts and 7 8-hour remote shifts per year. Total Hours = 2,080 annually)

  • 240 Hours of Time Away from Practice annually (Inclusive of planned time off, unplanned time off and CME time.)

  • Join a large hospital employed group of 125 physicians and 25 advanced practice clinicians servicing 3 hospital campuses (1,300 beds) in Newark and Wilmington, DE and Elkton, MD

  • Take advantage of an extensive health network that includes outpatient services, home health care, medical aid units,a Level I trauma center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a comprehensive stroke center along with regional Centers of Excellence in heart and vascular care, cancer care and women's health.

  • Teach residents and medical students and participate in leadership development opportunities in teaching, quality and safety committees and project teams

  • Live and work within 1 hour of Philadelphia and Baltimore, 2 hours from New York City and Washington D.C.

Annual Compensation Range $276,316.00 - $368,007.00The above compensation range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting for full-time hours in the respective specialty. The actual compensation within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation the fair market value for physician services in the relevant specialty and the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, credentials, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. The compensation range listed may encompass various forms of applicable compensation for this position, including, but not limited to, productivity incentives, value-based incentives and other ancillary forms of compensation dependent upon operational factors such as hours worked, call coverage and other factors. ChristianaCare will offer compensation at an appropriate point within the above range or, less frequently, may offer a level of compensation outside the listed range as warranted by the circumstances.
