Job description

Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Job Location: Mesa, AZ (hybrid)
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • This position will be in Dexcom ITOT team and will be dedicated on projects with operations engineering and manufacturing teams
  • The role will work in close collaboration with ITOT manufacturing software system engineers manufacturing operations engineers manufacturing process engineers operations QA and cross functional IT teams and will work on SQL Server SCADA MES Siemens Opscenter and customized manufacturing software
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide daytoday technical support for manufacturing software systems including MES Manufacturing Execution Systems SCADA SQL Server and related applications
  • Support continuous software improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance user experience and operational efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve softwarerelated production issues in a timely manner to minimize manufacturing downtime
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Engineering Quality IT and Production to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for software and system anomalies
  • Monitor and maintain system performance ensuring uptime and reliability across supported platforms
  • Support software deployments configuration updates and system integrations in manufacturing environments
  • Document incidents service requests and resolutions in accordance with IT service management processes
  • Conduct routine system health checks and participate in software validation and change control processes
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and support procedures
  • Participate in oncall rotation and provide afterhours or weekend support as needed
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned
