Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and CDL Driver/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) and specialized equipment while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to stay focused in fast-paced and changing work environments, and a commitment to delivering quality service to our clients.

Schedule

  • Primary schedule: Nights and weekends

Duties

  • Drive, operate, and maintain hydro excavation trucks or similar type vehicles.
  • Ensure the safe transportation to designated locations while following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks, including mileage, fuel usage, and job completion recaps.
  • Communicate effectively with office coordinators and customers regarding job status and completion review.
  • Manage logistics efficiently to optimize routes and minimize delays.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and vacuum systems/components.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • No combination truck experience needed.
  • Previous experience as a driver or in a similar truck driving role is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Tanker endorsement is required to operate/drive truck.
