Job description

We are searching for a Cabinet Install Manager (Field Service Manager) for the Gulf Coast market, with Crestview being your home base. This position manages cabinet installation and carpentry crews across the local area that are installing cabinetry, trim and crown molding. The hours are Monday through Friday with some weekend work available.
Requirements:
  • Provide day-to-day overall leadership and management to the Field Service Technicians and cabinet sub-contractors within a 150 miles radius to Crestview.
  • Create the daily job installation schedule for job-site installation reviews.
  • Schedule Field Service Technicians and sub-contractors daily work schedules and assign jobs.
  • Monitor the completion of the daily schedule and creates Variance Report to track completed jobs and rework.
  • Ensure Inspection of all cabinet installs for quality of installation
  • Provides technical expertise to direct reports on safe installation methods and techniques, as well as craftsman advice.
  • Communicate with customers and their clientele as needed to resolve problems. May travel to job-sites.
  • Hires, trains, develops and evaluates staff. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with Company policy. Ensures compliance with current federal, state and local regulations. Consults with Human Resources as appropriate.
  • Directs and coordinates various programs essential to operations procedures (e.g. training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.)
  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure outstanding customer service, meeting installation goals.

Experience Required:
  • Building materials industry and managing multiple crews across a geography is required.
  • Carpentry, trim and crown molding experience is a MUST, experience installing cabinets is a MUST.
  • Candidates should have the ability to lift up to 50+ pounds, the ability to communicate, some computer skills, the ability to work well with customers, and possess a "do what it takes mentality".
  • All candidates must have a valid driver's license' and a good driving record.
  • Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
