Salary Range: Min $21.99 Mid $27.33 Max $32.67

A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 (subject to applicable taxes) is available for this position! The bonus is paid in three installments: 1st after 90 days, 2nd after one year, and 3rd after two years. Bonus recipients must commit to continuous full-time or part-time employment in an eligible position for two years with Porter Medical Center. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.
This position is eligible for shift differentials:
Evening: $3.00 per hour
Night: $5.00 per hour
Weekend $2 per hour (in addition to any applicable evening or night differentials)
Job Summary
The Licensed Nursing Assistant is responsible for working collaboratively under the direction of the Staff Nurse to deliver basic personal care support and specific aspects of patient care. Responsive communication, respect, and support to our residents is the central feature of this position.

Unit Information
Memory Care is designed to meet the changing needs of individuals as they experience the progression of symptoms and increases in cognitive loss associated with a diagnosis of dementia. Our early-stage program offers activity-based care in a warm, supportive and safe environment with a primary goal of helping individuals maintain dignity, purpose and functional ability. This highly specialized unit is staffed with very dedicated advocates and team members. Residents in this unit are the most vulnerable, usually unable to advocate for themselves.
