Region I: Primary to St Anne Hospital, but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region One: St. Francis Hospital - Federal Way, WA; Virginia Mason Medical Center - Seattle, WA; St. Anne Hospital - Burien, WA. Will get a *** premium rate if floated.
Unit ICU
# Beds 10 ICU 21 PCU
Nurse:Patient Ratios 2:1 ICU, 3:1 PCU (in normal circumstances) 3:1 ICU and 4:1 PCU Stretch
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients COVID, Respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, sepsis, DKA
Experience or 'Must have' skills ventilated patients, cath lab recovery, therapeutic hypothermia
Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes
Common titratable &/or set rate drips Sedation (i.e.propofol, versed, fentanyl, precedex); pressors (i.e. levophed, epinephrine, vasopressin, dopamine, dobutamine); diuretics such as Bumex; insulin; Amiodarone;
