WEEKEND ONLY CAREGIVER POSITION
Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers to be a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. We are looking for a caregiver to commit to every SAT/SUN. . LOOKIING FOR CAREGIVERS THAT ARE AVAILABLE DURING THE HOURS OF 7 AM TO 7PM.
WEEKEND ONLY ..CAREGIVER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • TB SKIN TEST. REQUIRED
  • MMR Test Required to work in the Hospital
  • CPR/FRIST AID TRAINING CERTIFICATION REQUIRED TO WORK ANY STATE MEDICAID CASE.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance.
  • Looking for caregivers that can commit to regular weekend shift assignments.
  • Must be able to handle client incontinent situations, ex. Cleaning client and Changing adult diapers and helping a client in the bathroom.
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Must be able to handle clients in various stages of Dementia and Alzheimer
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
  • Requires a two-year minimum of experience (Does not have to be in a professional environment)
