SUMMARY

Since Axiom Space is a highly complex and fast-moving environment, we are seeking a resilient, high energy, and highly skilled Enterprise Data Engineer to contribute to our data-driven initiatives. This role will focus on building and maintaining ETL pipelines using Alteryx Server, supporting data warehouse integration, and enabling reliable data flows between enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in data engineering, SQL, and Alteryx, with experience developing and managing production ETL workflows and supporting occasional dashboard and reporting needs. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, perform data cleansing and transformation, and support data migration efforts across the organization. This role works in close

partnership with fellow Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with defined standards, priorities, and governance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Alteryx Server to support data warehouse integration and enterprise system connectivity.

Support and manage data migration and integration initiatives between various enterprise systems to ensure seamless operations.

Develop and enhance databases using SQL and Python, ensuring optimized performance and scalability.

Design and establish robust data models and database mapping systems to perform data verification, cleansing, and enhancement.

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports on an as-needed basis to support business stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements and coordinate data remediation activities.

Perform additional job duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role within an enterprise environment.

Hands-on experience with Alteryx or Alteryx Server for ETL development and workflow automation; familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Snowflake is a plus.

Strong ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries across various data sources.

Experience with data warehouse concepts and enterprise system integration.

Proficiency in Python for data transformation and pipeline support.

Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools preferred.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred.
