Schedule Details:: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a seasonal position, typically running from June through November, with a schedule of up to 40 hours per week.
Description
As a Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker in our Public Works department, you will support the daily operations of water treatment facilities by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. Working under the guidance of the Water Facility Supervisor, you will assist certified operators in keeping our facilities clean, safe, and in good repair.
This is a seasonal position, typically running from May through November, with a schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

Essential Job Duties
What You'll Do in This Role:
  • Maintain grounds using equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, and skid steers
  • Support irrigation systems by helping maintain, test, and repair components
  • Assist with landscaping tasks, including applying fertilizers and managing weeds
  • Perform general facility upkeep such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
  • Help with basic plumbing, carpentry, and equipment maintenance as needed
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment between sites
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to keep projects on track

Minimum Qualifications
You Have:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Six months of experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a related field
  • A valid state driver's license
