Description

Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is located in Breckenridge, Colorado - the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Nestled between the mountain and Main Street, at Beaver Run you're just a few steps away from the ski slopes in the winter and the hiking trails in the summer. With 40,000 square feet of conference and meeting spaces, Beaver Run is the largest conference center in Breckenridge with the most scenic views and most professional team, services and amenities.

What You'll Do:

The Grounds Lead position reports to the Grounds Assistant Manager and assists the Grounds laborers with daily grounds tasks. Daily tasks consist of the upkeep and maintenance of the resort's overall grounds. Snow removal via plow truck and skid steerer, trash removal to compactors, manual sweeping and trash pick-up, snow & ice removal. Landscaping & pond maintenance.

Position starts at $22.00/hr.+ DOE, Full time year round

Responsibilities:

  • Snow shoveling, plowing, and ice removal.
  • Assist with recycling and property wide garbage removal.
  • Sweep, exchange dumpsters, break down cardboard boxes, sort recycling, and empty exterior trash cans.
  • Assist with firewood deliveries, kindling & deliver firewood to rooms.
  • Lawn care, irrigation repair and pond maintenance.

What You'll Bring:

  • Ability to clearly communicate with guests, co-workers, and managers in person and on the radio.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Able to responsibly & safely operate machinery, Bobcat Skid steerer & Plow Truck. (previous experience a plus & willing to train the right candidate)
  • Must be able to use hand & power tools.
  • Able to work outside in adverse weather conditions.
