Your Role in the Organization:
Theprimary purpose of the job position is to provide direct nursing care to theresidents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed bynursing assistants. Qualifications:
Musthave a valid unencumbered nursing license. Must have valid CPR/BLScertification or be willing to obtain during orientation.
Essential Elements of your Job
• Leadand support all functions related to quality for care for our residences.
• Directthe day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Participatein facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
• Completeprocesses and paperwork related to Admission, transfer and discharge of ourresidents.
• Receivetelephone orders from physicians and record on the Physicians' Order Form.Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts, medication recordstreatment/care plans, as required.
• Chartnurse's notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the careprovided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to the care.
