Every day we honor our iconic brand by offering quality coverage to millions of customers and being there when they need us most. We thrive on relentless innovation to exceed our customers' expectations while making a real impact on local communities nationwide. Founded in 1936, GEICO is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies and one of the largest auto insurers in the United States. When you join our company, we want you to feel valued, supported, and proud to work here. That's why we offer the GEICO Pledge: Great Company, Great Culture, Great Rewards, and Great Careers.

Function: Product Marketing. Reports To: Senior Product Marketing Manager, Home & Property Partners. Closely With: Creative, Marketing Analytics, Product & Business Teams, Marketing Operations, Cross-Functional Marketing Partners.

About the Role

GEICO is looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative Product Marketing professional with 3‑5 years of experience to join GEICO as a Product Marketing Lead supporting our Home and Property lines of business. As part of our Marketing flywheel model, you will help enable accurate, timely, and well-coordinated go‑to‑market execution while supporting a cohesive brand narrative across all customer touchpoints. The Product Marketing Lead, Home & Property turns marketing plans into clean, well‑coordinated execution — maintaining clear visibility into priorities, partnering with Marketing Analytics to translate dashboards, models, and test results into inputs the team can act on, and supporting budget tracking and reporting alongside the broader team. Working closely with the Senior Product Marketing Manager, this role helps make sure retention, lifecycle, and brand execution hold together across every touchpoint, and partners with Creative on asset reviews and briefs so work consistently answers the brief. When this role is working well, marketing plans stay accurate and visible, performance and budget reporting are clean and dependable, and brand and retention execution feel consistent everywhere the customer meets GEICO's Home and Property lines. Our department's hybrid model is 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility. Corporate offices are in Bethesda, MD or Manhattan, NY.

How We Work

The Marketing organization at GEICO is guided by a clear set of principles: we hire the best at every level and invest in developing them. We believe that strategy comes before action ‑ if we don't know why we're doing something, we don't do it. We bring the same care and accountability to how we spend resources as we would if it were our own business. And when there are challenges, we face them directly and collectively. Leaders in this organization are expected to bring that same mindset to their teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • GTM Execution & Growth Support Maintain clear, up‑to‑date visibility into Home and Property marketing plans and priorities so the team can move quickly and with confidence
  • Support execution that stays aligned to defined growth segments and markets
  • Help teams move faster by catching errors and reducing rework before they cause delays
  • Support budget tracking and reporting for the Home and Property marketing budget, working in partnership with the team and Operations on monthly reconciliation
  • Business Analysis & Marketing Operations Partner with Marketing Analytics to translate data, dashboards, and test results into clear channel and lifecycle recommendations for the team
  • Proactively surface performance learnings and trends from existing dashboards and tools to influence planning and prioritization
  • Maintain clean, accessible documentation and reporting inputs so tool outputs can be trusted and reused
  • Support tech‑enabled workflows (intake, approvals, tagging, QA) that reduce manual effort and speed execution
  • Retention & Lifecycle Execution Ensure lifecycle and retention efforts are reflected in calendars and materials
  • Coordinate cross‑functional workflows that support the customer experience
  • Help ensure consistency across touchpoints
  • Support messaging and lifecycle tactics that improve Auto attachment rates, contributing to stronger retention outcomes
  • Brand Consistency & Creative Partnership Support creative reviews and asset management, partnering with Creative to confirm work answers the brief and product needs
  • Ensure executions align to approved product briefs, RTB guidance, and brand standards
  • Support insight‑driven storytelling through strong materials and presentations
  • Team Collaboration & Growth Enable efficient collaboration across teams and partners
  • Foster strong internal engagement and information sharing
  • Grow personal skills in brand, insights, and cross‑functional coordination
You May Be a Good Fit
