UP on The Roof is looking for potential team members who are interested in establishing a career with an organization that believes in hospitality, integrity and success for both the members of our team and the company.
• At least 2 years management experience in high volume, late night, upscale bar or lounge environment.
• Strong bartending background with the ability to roll up their sleeves and help manage order and guest flow
during peak business.
• In-depth knowledge of liquor, beer and wine products and appreciation for craft cocktails.
• Passion for customer service, leadership and fostering teamwork when busy.
• Be able to work late nights (bar closes at 2am) and weekends.
• Effective in developing/maintaining professional working relationships with guests and staff.
• Oversee monthly inventories and ensure that bar costs fall within budgeted percentages.
• Proven record of reliability, punctuality and ability to follow polices.
Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift, handle and carry beverage items, supplies, glass racks, smallwares and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
2. Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat on a frequent basis to obtain and store food, beverage items, smallwares and service equipment.
3. Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length.
4. Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees and guests
