The Opportunity: As a member of theGolf Outside Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of the golf course and its surroundings, contributing to the overall ambiance of our club.

Duties and Functions:

  • Greet and welcome golfers, providing them with a warm and friendly introduction to the club.
  • Assist golfers with loading and unloading their golf bags from carts, ensuring their equipment is handled with care.
  • Maintain the practice area by replenishing golf balls, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Coordinate golf cart distribution and collection, ensuring they are clean, charged, and ready for use.
  • Monitor the pace of play on the course, encouraging groups to maintain an appropriate speed and addressing any concerns.
  • Keep the staging area organized, neat, and well-stocked with golf accessories such as tees, scorecards, and pencils.
  • Assist with tournament and event setup, including signage, special course markings, and other requirements.
  • Perform regular checks of the course to ensure it is in optimal playing condition, reporting any maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the golf facility, including restrooms and common areas.
  • Provide assistance to the Pro Shop by conveying customer feedback, promoting club events, and assisting with sales when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with club policies and rules, fostering a safe and enjoyable golfing environment.

Qualification Standards:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong knowledge of golf etiquette and rules.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry golf bags, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with members, guests, and colleagues.
