Job Summary:


We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Grounds Crew. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining the golf course's landscape, ensuring a pristine playing environment for our guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work.


Key Responsibilities:


- Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging of grass areas

- Assist in the maintenance of golf course greens, tees, and fairways

- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools

- Monitor and manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of the course

- Assist in the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed

- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of course presentation

- Participate in seasonal projects such as aeration, overseeding, and landscaping improvements

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment



Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:


- Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required

- Ability to operate lawn care equipment and machinery safely and effectively

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed


Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • 18 years of age and over preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions including inclement conditions when necessary (afternoons preferred)
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
