Job Summary:
Cloud and Things is focused on transforming the public sectorโ€™s IT environment by solving complex IT challenges. They are seeking a Full Stack Developer to support application modernization by building, improving, and maintaining cloud-based applications, specifically developing Java Spring Boot microservices and Angular user interfaces.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications to support client needs.
โ€ข Build and support back-end microservices using Java Spring Boot and AWS services.
โ€ข Develop and enhance Angular-based user interfaces to align with existing legacy system functionality.
โ€ข Assist in migrating applications from monolithic architecture to containerized microservices using AWS EKS and cloud-native solutions.
โ€ข Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to EKS microservices and application performance.
โ€ข Participate in code reviews and help improve application reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
โ€ข Work with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
โ€ข Create proof of concepts to evaluate and integrate new tools, products, or technologies into the current environment.
โ€ข Support application deployment, testing, and ongoing system enhancements.
โ€ข Follow established development standards, best practices, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Associateโ€™s degree or combination of education and experience.
โ€ข Between 2 โ€“ 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
โ€ข Between 2 โ€“ 5 years of experience with AWS Development
โ€ข 2+ years of experience working with Microservices
โ€ข 2+ years of experience with Java Springboot
โ€ข Experience in migrating from Monolithic to Micro services containerized using AWS EKS with Cloud Native Architecture
โ€ข Experience with developing Angular UI Developing and reviewing micro services & Angular UI to match with legacy monolithic functionality
โ€ข Ability to do PoCs to integrate any new tool/product to the existing system
โ€ข Experience with trouble-shooting and resolving issues with EKS microservices
