Job description

Superior Weighted Products is seeking a Front End Loader Operator for our new state of the art barite processing facility in Pecos.
The Front End Loader is responsible for the recovery of crude ore from the storage area, transport to the crusher feed hopper, and the operation of the primary crushing line and mill feed hoppers/belts in order to ensure the timely availability of mill feed.
(Hourly pay: $24.75)

Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Front End Loader
  • Moves crude ore from stock piles to the crusher system feed hopper.
  • Blends crude ore as instructed by plant management.
  • Safely operates industrial front end loader.
  • Operates all equipment related to the crusher system.
  • Assists the Mill Operator in confirming that material is feeding properly from the mill feed hoppers.
  • Loads bulk trucks using computerized scale and loading system and proficiently utilizes scale system.
  • Properly inspects front end loader at the beginning of each assigned shift, ensuring that fuel, water and oil are at proper levels; checks the brakes and hydraulics; greases the bucket and checks any areas identified by management; and promptly reports all concerns/issues to management, upon discovery.
  • Performs all duties safely in accordance with Company procedures and applicable safety requirements.
  • Supports and participates in the Company's Quality Management System.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the Lead Mill Operator, Operations Manager, or other Company management, including assisting with maintenance and production-related activities, when and as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; prior relevant work experience ( e.g ., experience operating a forklift or front end loader) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Front End Loader Operator experience.
  • Prior experience working in an MHSA-regulated environment is a plus.
  • Forklift operation certification or ability to become immediately certified is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge of crushers, conveyor belts, front end loaders, forklifts,
  • Ability to operate and maintain plant equipment used by the Company and to utilize power and manual tools required for the position.
  • Bilingual language abilities (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and the maintenance of a driving record satisfactory to the Company.
  • Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts, including possible nights and weekends, and be on call (via phone) to proactively respond to the Company's operational needs.
