Job Description

Reach Truck / Sit-Down Forklift Operator Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Location: Fargo, ND

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck or Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This role is responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to move, store, stack, retrieve, and transport products throughout the facility while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards. This is a weekend only position!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a Reach Truck or Sit-Down Forklift in warehouse storage and distribution areas
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and required documentation
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and store products in designated warehouse locations
  • Retrieve products from storage locations and replenish inventory as needed
  • Pull and prepare orders for shipment
  • Verify product quantities and ensure order accuracy
  • Use RF scanners to track inventory and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities
  • Rotate inventory according to warehouse procedures
  • Report inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, and safety concerns
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of Reach Truck or Sit-Down Forklift operating experience required
  • Ability to obtain and pass forklift certification
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse scanning equipment
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for 10–12 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stretching, and lifting throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures, lighting conditions, and noise levels
  • Flexibility to work overtime or additional hours as needed
