Job description

Forklift Operator (Stand-Up)

The Forklift Operator (Stand-Up) is responsible for safely operating a stand-up forklift to perform material handling duties within the warehouse. This position supports warehouse operations by transporting, storing, replenishing, and staging products in Freezer, Cooler, and Dry environments while maintaining accurate inventory levels and adhering to all safety standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift only (no sit-down forklifts).
  • Perform material handling assignments in Dry, Cooler, and Freezer warehouse environments.
  • Identify, transport, and place materials to and from storage areas into designated warehouse pick slots.
  • Operate forklift/high-lift equipment to lower stock from reserve locations to ground-level pick slots.
  • Replenish pick slots with product from reserve storage to maintain proper inventory levels for order selection.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues immediately.
  • Maintain equipment in safe working conditions and comply with operational guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
