Job description

We’re hiring a Forensic CPA for a key position on our team. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on financial analysis and preparation of financial exhibits and reports for litigation.


This position is well-suited for a CPA with solid accounting experience who is looking to develop expertise in forensic accounting and litigation support.

Compensation:

$85,000 - $115,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Establish accounting policies and procedures to ensure the business runs smoothly
  • Work in an advisory capacity on the organizational budget and strategic planning
  • Report our sales-to-income effectiveness by forecasting revenue and analyzing our profit margin
  • Manage business by performing regular financial reporting and keeping accounting systems and financial documents current
  • Work with tax accountants to keep accurate records of payments and returns
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and exhibits for litigation purposes.
  • Communicate with team members, attorneys, and clients.
  • Analyze complex financial data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Conduct thorough financial investigations to uncover discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage assigned tasks and deadlines across multiple engagements.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, Master’s degree preferred but not required
  • Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
  • Passed the uniform CPA examination from the AICPA and possess a CPA certification in compliance with the state board of accountancy regulations
  • Must have 2 or more years of work experience in accounting services, financial services or similar
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • 3–6+ years of accounting experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with legal teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify patterns, trends, and discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey findings.
  • Exposure to forensic accounting and litigation support preferred.
  • CFF, ABV, CFE, or other related credentials are a plus.
