Med Surg Registered Nurse - RN
Schedule: Day (7A - 7P) and Night (7P - 7A) Shifts
Pay Range: $40 - $55/hr DOE
Shift Differential: 11% after 3 PM, 20% for night shift and 30% for weekend shift
Job Description:
As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients admitted to the Medical Surgical unit. Your primary role will be to assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg patients.
  • Assess, medicate, and monitor patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans.
  • Perform treatments, educate patients and families.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulations.
Requirements:
  • Valid NY Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • BLS certification.
