Job description

Sierra View Country Club, located in Roseville, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Tennis Facility Maintenance Technician! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tennis Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure our courts and surrounding grounds are kept in top condition. This role is essential to providing a safe, clean, and professional environment for players, coaches, and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily maintenance of tennis courts, including cleaning, sweeping, and debris removal
  • Wash courts as needed during warmer months
  • Inspect court surfaces and complete minor repairs as needed
  • Maintain nets, posts, windscreens, fencing, and lighting systems
  • Dry courts after rain or fog to playable condition
  • Maintain benches, tables, and chairs for member use
  • Dust and vacuum the tennis office on a weekly basis
  • Perform landscaping duties such as weed control and general groundskeeping
  • Ensure proper drainage and address weather-related wear and damage
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for tournaments and events
  • Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in safe working condition
  • Report major repair needs or safety hazards to management

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous maintenance, groundskeeping, or facility experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of tennis court surfaces and upkeep is a plus
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment such as blowers and rollers
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule:
Flexible schedule with primarily early mornings, including weekends and holidays as needed. 20-25 hours per week.
