Job description

Different Health is hiring a part-time Exercise Physiologist to join our growing performance team in New York City!

About Different Health:

Different Health is a Manhattan-based longevity and human performance clinic that combines advanced diagnostics, exercise physiology, and personalized care to help clients optimize long-term health and performance. We're a small, high-performing team looking for curious, thoughtful people who are excited about applied human performance and client impact.

About the role:

You'll work alongside our existing Exercise Physiologist to conduct comprehensive exercise testing and create individualized programming for a diverse client base focused on health optimization and human performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct performance assessments including isometric strength testing (e.g., mid-thigh pull), aerobic capacity (VO2 Max), body composition, mobility assessment, gait analysis, and more.
  • Interpret and communicate assessment data through clear, client-facing reports.
  • Design and deliver individualized exercise programs aligned with client goals and clinical needs.
  • Collaborate with the existing EP and broader care team to ensure integrated, high-quality service delivery.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field (Master's degree encouraged).
  • Proficiency with performance testing and data interpretation - VO2 Max testing experience mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable client insights.
  • Experience in a clinical, performance, or high-performance health setting preferred.
  • Available to work onsite in Tribeca.
