Job description

The Executive Protection Agent's mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. EP Agents represent the front line of our security services. In this role EP Agents can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced and often high stress environments. Additionally EP Agents may be required to work with a firearm.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform mobile and static protection solo or while working as part of a larger team
  • Perform security driver duties in support of the Client
  • Conduct advance work and report on gathered intelligence
  • Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise
  • Maintain high levels of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Participate in company-provided training as well as continue their own professional development, advancing both hard and soft skills relevant to the position
  • Delivering high-end customer service
  • Responding to emergencies
  • Deterring and preventing crime
  • Performing ingress/ egress control procedures
  • Investigating incidents
  • Completing daily logs and incident reports
  • Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
  • Building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers
  • De-escalating conflicts
  • Detaining suspects
  • Monitoring CCTV cameras
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
  • Ensuring safety of principal and family members
  • Conducting risk assessment and planning to minimize threats
  • Establishing and maintaining secure environments
  • Maintaining the security of the household and vehicles
  • Using physical intervention as necessary
  • Responding to medical emergencies

Skills/Qualifications

  • Possess at least one of the following experience criteria:
    • 4+ years of combat military / law enforcement / armed security experience
    • Successful completion of a state or federal certified law enforcement training academy or recognized Executive Protection school
  • Experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or armed security preferred

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Basic computer and phone skills (Email, Microsoft Office, Signal, WhatsApp, Life 360, etc.)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Ohio Private Security / OPOTA firearms certification (as required for armed duties)
  • Conduct surveillance activities in support of protective operations
  • Must be legally eligible to carry a firearm in the state of Ohio
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient time management skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent de-escalation skill
  • Extensive use of force knowledge
