Pay: $15.40-$16.00

Work Schedule: 100% on-site. Hours are based on scheduled events, with shifts typically ranging from 4–8 hours. Evening and weekend availability may be needed depending on the event calendar.

Our client is a boutique event venue that creates elevated experiences for private celebrations, corporate gatherings, showers, weddings, and other special occasions. The team is focused on providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring every event is thoughtfully executed from setup through completion.

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Part-Time Assistant Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of a variety of events. This individual will help oversee day-of-event operations, coordinate with staff and vendors, assist with setup and breakdown, and ensure each event runs smoothly.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced event environment and is looking for flexible, part-time work on an as-needed basis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support event preparation, day-of coordination, and post-event breakdown.
  • Assist with setting up décor, activity areas, event materials, and other venue elements.
  • Monitor event staff and activity stations to ensure guests are receiving a seamless experience.
  • Work closely with event leadership to keep schedules and event details on track.
  • Step in to assist staff or vendors when additional support is needed.
  • Help identify and resolve last-minute issues during events.
  • Maintain a polished and professional presence while interacting with guests, vendors, and event staff.
  • Assist with cleanup and organization of the venue following events.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in events, hospitality, retail, customer service, or a similar environment preferred.
  • Previous exposure to weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate functions, private parties, or other special events is a plus.
  • Comfortable working a flexible, part-time schedule based on event needs.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend events.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable providing direction to event staff and helping keep activities running on schedule.
  • Proactive and willing to jump in wherever assistance is needed.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable and able to work effectively in a busy, guest-facing environment.
