Looking to earn extra income while being part of unforgettable celebrations? We’re hiring energetic, reliable individuals to join the Toussaint Productions team as a Special Event Assistant.

This isn’t just another job—we’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy creating great experiences and delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

As a Special Event Assistant, you’ll play a key role in making weddings and events run smoothly. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with setup and breakdown of DJ equipment and special effects
  • Supporting event operations, including audio, lighting, and effects (fog machines, indoor sparklers, etc.)
  • Helping guests with photo booth use and overall event experience
  • Working closely with the DJ to keep events on schedule
  • Maintaining, organizing, and troubleshooting equipment

What We’re Looking For

  • Organized, dependable, and punctual—being on time is non-negotiable
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable engaging with diverse groups of guests
  • Professional, flexible, and able to adapt to different venues and event timelines
  • Able to stay focused in high-energy environments (especially weddings)
  • Physically capable of lifting 30+ lbs

Schedule & Travel

  • Part-time, primarily evenings and weekends
  • Travel required throughout Northern Virginia

Compensation & Perks

  • Starting at $24-25/hour
  • Meals provided at events
  • Paid travel time for trips over 1 hour
  • Parking / Toll reimbursement
  • Overnight travel (when required) is compensated
