Temp Security Guard – Weekend Event

Security Officer:

United Security delivers integrated security solutions for high-profile businesses, properties, and events. With nearly 100 years of experience, we've built a reputation as one of the most trusted and established security providers in the country. Our team takes pride in professionalism, reliability, and protecting what matters most to our clients. Security Officer Summary: We're seeking motivated individuals who are available for a two to four day event. Availability is required for the dates of 5/21-5/25, with the event itself taking place on May 23rd and 24th. This position can potentially serve as an entry point into our organization, either as a Flex Officer, or a more permanent detail at other location(s). This is located at Union Park for the Forever Mine Music Festival. Note- we will be doing prompt in-person interviews. If you are interested, please apply to this role here. Security Officer Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a welcoming environment and provide needed services for guests
  • Patrol during equipment set up and take down, reporting any unauthorized or suspicious activity.
  • Patrol guest areas and outdoor areas for suspicious activities and unauthorized people
  • Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills
  • Deescalation as needed
  • Other responsibilities may apply

Security Officer Requirements:

  • PERC Card required
  • Willingness to submit to a background check
  • Clean and professional appearance
  • Availability for patrolling the event set up, the event, and patrolling during equipment take down. Dates are 5/21-5/25, with the event taking place on 5/23 and 5/24.
  • Ability to stand up and walk for 8 hours

Security Officer Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security experience
  • Ex-law enforcement
  • Military service
