Throughout the years, Reese Consumer Health has developed nationally recognized products.
Since our small beginning back in 1907, Reese Consumer Health has continued to grow and thrive and is now a 4th generation, family-run business. We supply the pharmaceutical industry, and ultimately, the consuming public, with high quality, unique medications that are stronger and more effective than either the name brands or their generic equivalents as well as equivalents to the name brands. We have expanded our production capabilities by adding more equipment to our facilities in order to keep up with our growing range of OTC andHealthcare products.

Position Summary:
Supports production runs on Blister Pack equipment during normal operation. The tech will be responsible for making necessary adjustments, troubleshooting problems, completing changeovers, performing maintenance and supporting production runs to ensure processing is completed as scheduled and escalates issues to Maintenance as needed.
JOB FUNCTIONS: (Job functions include but are not limited to the following)
  • Oversee general productivity of the machines to ensure production goals are met.
  • Functioning as a leader for those assigned to the Cartoblis, including assigning duties and tasks, monitoring employee productivity, and notifying the necessary manager
  • of any potential issues or concerns.
  • Work with the production planner and supervisor to schedule jobs between both machines to effectively meet customer demand.
  • Train Machine Technicians on Cartoblis operation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
  • Operate as the blister quality expert and train new employees on quality criteria (inspecting blisters, leak testing, and all paperwork that is required).
  • Work with Quality to identify and maintain blister quality standards.
  • Perform in-process inspections, per SOP.
  • Perform all SOP training for new employees.
  • Work in a cooperative manner with management/supervision, co-workers and vendors.
  • Job setup: installing changeout parts, manual machine adjustments.
  • Load and install print mat, adjust settings to get in band, fills ink, thread PVC and foil.
  • Work with Print mat vendor on adjustments and standardization.
  • Wear the required PPE.
  • Follow cGMP standards.
  • Train on other equipment when the two Cartoblis machines are operating efficiently and trouble free.
  • Other duties as assigned or directed.
EDUCATION/ KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 yearsโ€™ experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
  • Familiarity with various mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and assembly drawings.
  • Familiar with CGMP compliance standards.
  • Ability to use small hand tools.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and direct others.
  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Frequently sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 10-hours.
  • Occasional bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting required.
  • Simple and power grasping with both right and left hands is required.
  • Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
SCHEDULE DEMANDS:
General schedule is a 10-hour Monday - Thursday assignment, however, employee must be willing to work a flexible schedule including overtime and days that may include early mornings, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
