What are Weekend Equine Sales?

Weekend Equine Sales refer to the process of buying and selling horses during weekends, often at specialized events, auctions, or through private arrangements. Professionals in this role facilitate transactions by showcasing horses, negotiating deals, and ensuring all paperwork and health checks are in order. This job typically includes working with horse owners, buyers, and sometimes trainers to match horses to suitable homes or owners. Weekend Equine Sales can take place at farms, horse shows, or auction houses, and require a strong knowledge of horse breeds, health, and market values.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Weekend Equine Sales professional, and why are they important?

To thrive in Weekend Equine Sales, you need a solid understanding of horse breeds, equine care, and sales techniques, often supported by experience in the equine industry or animal science education.
