OVERVIEW
A Bartender at Level99 provides exceptional hospitality, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all restaurant guests and entertainment players with genuine enthusiasm. They anticipate guest needs, possess extensive food and beverage knowledge, and work effectively with the team to ensure seamless and exemplary service.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Warmly greet guests ensuring a warm welcoming but not overbearing presence
  • Be present and attentive by recognizing visual cues of guests' needs before they realize what they need
  • Convey enthusiasm for our food and beverage menus while maintaining proper knowledge of the menu and food allergies within dishes
  • Work as a team at all times, looking to support one another and prioritize on behalf of the guest  
  • Accurately process transactions using the POS system including guest payments and order tracking 
  • Understand and follow the steps of service
  • Check identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking age
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
  • Perform all other duties as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience as a Bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of  mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Relevant training certificate
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and sanitation code and policies
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude - leading by example
  • Must be 21 years old or older, the legal age to bartend in Virginia
OTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous high volume experience
  • Strong knowledge of beer and cocktail programs
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Able to work eight hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs
  • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
