Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Schedule: Flexible Shifts (13.5-hour shifts)
Start: ASAP
Contract: Locum / Travel Assignment | Minimum 3 Months with Extension Option


Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) with pediatric anesthesia experience for an exciting locum opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina. This role provides the opportunity to work in a specialized pediatric healthcare environment, delivering anesthesia care to children within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model.

Providers will support a high-acuity pediatric hospital setting with a diverse case mix.


‍⚕️ Eligible Provider

✔️ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
✔️ Minimum 3+ years of pediatric anesthesia experience required
✔️ Active South Carolina license (or currently in process)
✔️ Proficiency in EPIC EMR required


Key Responsibilities

Provide safe anesthesia care for pediatric patients
Collaborate within a team-based anesthesia care model
Manage perioperative anesthesia care and monitoring
Support anesthesia services across pediatric surgical settings as needed


Practice Environment

Pediatric hospital and specialty care environment
⚕️ Case variety consistent with a large tertiary care center
No OB cases
No regional blocks required
❤️ No cardiac cases unless pediatric cardiac experience is present


Schedule & Coverage

13.5-hour shifts
0.5-hour unpaid lunch break
Some weekend shifts may be required
Minimum 3-month commitment with option to extend


Work Locations

Providers may work at multiple pediatric care locations including:

Children’s hospital surgical services
Pediatric specialty outpatient facilities

Assignments may vary depending on clinical scheduling needs.
