Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Marshall, TX, requiring TNCC certification and at least 1 year of ED experience on a night shift schedule.

Details
  • Emergency Care Department (ECD) in a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes ED, trauma, medical, critical care, and pediatrics
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract
  • May be floated to other ED departments within the health system as needed
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Moderate sedation competency and triage experience preferred
Requirements
  • Active RN license in TX or a compact state required
  • Current certifications required (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
  • Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience
  • BSN preferred
  • US Social Security Number required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
  • Copies of all active certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation using the nursing process
  • Administers medications and treatments per protocol and monitors for side effects and effectiveness
  • Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
