Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room (OR) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in various surgical procedures and possess a broad skill set, enabling them to operate independently in a busy surgical environment.

Shift Information

The position is available for a Monday to Friday schedule with options for shift preferences based on departmental discretion.

Unit Information

  • Number of beds: 14
  • Patient to nurse ratio: 1:1
Responsibilities
  • Circulate a variety of surgical cases independently, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
  • Utilize and manage robotic equipment, including DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa.
  • Participate in the implementation of surgical protocols and teamwork initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond to patient needs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 24 months of current Operating Room experience is required.
  • Proficient experience in DaVinci robotics, ortho (including total joints and spine), and general surgery is essential.
  • Must demonstrate a well-rounded operational knowledge as an OR RN.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
  • Experience in spine procedures is required.
  • Travel experience within the previous 15 months is necessary.
  • Scrub experience is considered a plus.
  • Mako and Rosa equipment experience are highly preferred.
Certifications
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA/ARC.
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from AHA/ARC.
